It was the team's second visit to the Dukeries Rally based in the Sherwood Forest region on Saturday 13th June. After a day of challenging each other over the nine special stages John Lloyd was the victor taking fifth place with a three second lead from team mate Andrew Barnes who finished 6th overall. The five mile stages in Clipstone South were Lloyd's favourite recording an equal fastest and second fastest times on his two runs through this classic stage.

Today has been fantastic fun said a jubilant John Lloyd at the finish with Andrew Barnes reflecting on his overshoot on stage 8 which lost him over 15 seconds. BTR team mate Steve Perez driving a Ford Focus won the event.

The Dukeries Rally was the fifth round of the Silverstone BTRDA Rally Championship. Following the team's great result Lloyd has pulled back up the leader board to 9th position and Barnes is in 12th place. The next round is the Quinton Rally based in Llandovery on Saturday 4th July.
