Lloyd in good form for Border Counties

John Lloyd and Adrian Cavenagh had a trouble free run on last weekends North Humberside Rally based in Whitby. Driving the Ford Focus World Rally Car they finished in seventh place and are now placed fifth in the BTRDA Rally Championship.

Due to business commitments Lloyd has had to withdraw from the Somerset Stages Rally. He has replaced this event with the Border Counties Rally which is based in Jedburgh, Scotland this Saturday, 5th April. This event offers 60 miles of stages through the famous Kielder forest where driving conditions are very technical avoiding those dreaded ditches.

"We had a trouble free run last weekend, I was on the pace from the start and pleased with our result. The Border Counties qualifies for the Scottish and MSA Gravel series, competition will be very tough. There are seven stages with the final stage in Harwood being the longest at 14.87 miles. I know how difficult the roads are within the Kielder complex however we will give it our best," said Lloyd whilst looking at his schedule for the forthcoming weekend.
